CIEH Food
CIEH Food (formerly TiFSiP) is the specialist food community offered to members of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH). Members have access to a range of benefits from the latest information on legislation and industry guidance to discounts on events, training courses, expert insight and more.

CIEH Food aims to bring together all sectors of the food community that work to keep food safe, healthy and trustworthy in order to ensure consumers are properly protected from harm. As a specialist resource, CIEH Food focuses on 5 key areas of interest as outlined below, all designed to help members face the increasing challenges faced by everyone working with food.

    Food fraud and food crime are not new but they appear be proliferating as the complexity of food chain increases. New ways of working are required to tackle food crime.

    The food we consume impacts on our health. Agreeing the make-up of a healthy diet is just the start, there are many barriers to change. Understanding the issues and “What works” in particular circumstances must be key to improving health and quality of life.
